Ramsey Homeschool courses are accessed through a parent account using their Ramsey Solutions login credentials. Parents will create student profiles and manage course enrollments from their teacher profile.
Co-op coordinators should encourage their student's parents to create a parent-managed Ramsey account for managing their student's access to the Foundations homeschool courses. This allows students to go through the coursework from home and come together for discussion time and group interaction.
The Ramsey Homeschool platform does not give co-op teachers access to the students' profiles or to manage their coursework directly.
Co-op teachers would need to get the online access for themselves to access the videos and teacher resources. You can stream the videos as the group comes together each week. The students would be able to follow along with their printed student textbook. This model seems to work well for many co-op and small groups.
The Ramsey Homeschool product team is looking into ways to add co-op functionality to the application. Until then, families should create accounts and share student progress with co-op teachers at their discretion.
NOTE: Ramsey discourages the sharing of account credentials. Sharing credentials can compromise an account and its security. Ramsey does not recommend adding students who are not in your family to your account.
